Elena Lobanowa originates from the Russian family of artists Lobanowa (grandfather Alexei). She began painting at the age of fifteen and studied at the School of Art in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine. 

In 1978 she completed her studies and had her first solo and group exhibitions in 1982 at locations around Ukraine and Russia. 

Since moving to Germany in 1993 Elena has been showcasing her art within Western Europe. 

Further she continuously works on mural painting and the painting on high quality furniture. 

Her artwork is presented and sold in galleries and solo exhibitions across Europe. The Nan Miller Gallery is proud to be part of her United States debut.
