"I find inspiration in the neighborhoods and places I have lived or visited, and my architectural training is reflected in my style and technique. My interpretation of famous buildings, homes and landmarks are depicted by my use of lines, textures, geometric shapes and minute details to create an exciting composition. I want viewers to come inside my paintings, peek into the windows, doors and buildings, and wander among the neighborhoods." – Norma Johns
